11 Easy Ways to Get Press to Come to Your Event

February 10, 2016

Last month, Splash surveyed 16 journalists on the best and worst event marketing tactics they've ever experienced. (I wrote about our findings in Adweek this morning.)

We spoke with a ton of our journo friends who write for every kind of publication, from Men’s Healthand Refinery29, to our good friends at International Business Times.

We grilled these guys on everything, from: "Do sneaky subject lines work on you?" to "What's the most creative press event invite you've ever received?" Oh, and my personal favorite: "If you could scream something at the top of your lungs to PR people who invite you to events, what would it be?"

If you throw events to get press in the room, then I suggest you head over to Adweek and bookmark these 11 tips. You'll thank me later.

Looking to plan the most amazing event and prove its worth? We've got every tip, trick, and party planning hack you'll need.
