I learned something on the last day of Advertising Week: Puppies can make any party a million times better.
Let me explain. Early this morning, Splash and Bark & Co. invited 150+ startup & ad types to a swanky penthouse studio in Times Square for a breakfast party to celebrate the final day of Ad Week. And then we unleashed 25 puppies into the crowd.
Mini-Frenchies. Goldendoodles. Mini-boxers. Big dogs. Small dogs. Feisty pups. Sleepy pups. Celeb pups, like Chloe the Mini Frenchie, Chloe Kardoggian, and Samson the Dood.
"I overheard so many people say that this was the best Advertising Week party yet," said Venture for America's Leandra Elberger.
And that was the whole point. We wanted to give people an experience they'd never forget.

Baristas Melissa Knott from grounded coffee catering and Craig Farelly from Brewklyn Grind kept the coffee flowing, Emre Yilmaz serenaded the crowd with some chill originals on his guitar, and Josh Griffiths' team from KG Fare cooked up some delicious bitesized breakfast treats for the crowd. (Those mini egg & prosciutto sandwiches were everything.)
Huge shoutout to Amie Segel from Flavor Productions for working with us on event design and logistics, the team at GO Studios Penthouse for the beautiful space, our photographer Avigdor Gill, the entire kickass team over at Bark & Co, all of the amazing animal shelters who took part (Foster Dogs NYC, Social Tees, In Our Hands Rescue & Animal Haven), and especially to all of you beautiful people and pups that made my morning.
For all of you who couldn't partake, prepare for some major FOMO. (For more event pics, head over to the Barks & Baristas Splash page.)
