Big news today! The NYC Mayor's Office announced on Twitter this afternoon that it has partnered with Splash to power Pope Francis' procession through Central Park on September 25.
The Central Park Papal Procession, which will precede the 6:00 p.m. mass at Madison Square Garden, was announced this morning by Mayor Bill de Blasio on Twitter. Thousands are expected to turn out for the event.
Splash will power:
Splash will use a custom build of our proprietary on-site iOS mobile checkin app to check in every single guest on September 25.
As a “Made in NY” startup, we are thrilled to partner with the City of New York to power such a high-profile event – which is, so far, the biggest event in Splash history. It’s a testament to why we built Splash the way we did – so that any event team could easily create a beautiful, responsive website, have all the tools at their fingertips to organize all the necessary information for guests, and seamlessly manage the check-in process – no matter how complex.
Keep an eye out for the lottery contest site, which will go live this week. Starting on Thursday, residents of New York State can apply for tickets (two per person) on the website, or by calling 311 between Thursday and Monday. The city will randomly select the winners and notify them on Thursday, September 10.
