In addition to analyzing your event’s overall success, it’s important to analyze your PR efforts specifically. That way, rather than just assuming everything went well, you can see what worked, what didn’t, and adjust your strategy for future events.
For PR purposes, secured media coverage and interviews are two great measures of success. And even though some interviews don’t lead to coverage right away, they’re still important for building relationships and awareness that can lead to media opportunities in the future.
When examining what didn’t work, think about if there was anything you could’ve done to enhance the media’s experience. If it wasn’t available at this event, could you offer an exclusive opportunity (e.g. one-on-one time with your CEO, or a giveaway) to help drive buzz at your next event?
