The company holiday party is less than a month away and you haven't started the event page or invites...
So, what? You've got this.
Once the date, time, and venue are locked in, you can easily share those details with your guests while you keep planning the rest of the party on the side. Plus, you've already remedied your party-planning headaches, so you're one step ahead of the game.
To help you lock in those RSVP's, we came up with a quick blueprint you can follow to get your event details into employee inboxes at superhuman speed. Don’t think you can build a mobile responsive website and send out hundreds of email invitations in less than a week’s time? GOOD. Because we think you can actually do it in seven minutes.
1. Log into your Splash account (or create one, it’s free!). Click “Create Event” and give your party a title. May we recommend:
When Matt dug into customer data, he discovered that their most devoted members would go to the gym an hour a day, 5-6 days a week. But when they went to the gym, they wouldn’t interact with anyone else (they’d come in, do their class, and leave).
Caution: Here’s our favorite part of Splash-building, and the part where you can easily get carried away. Adjusting and customizing our themes to fit every party possibility is actually really fun, but if you want to get the word out, it’s also ok to speed through this part.
1. Simply hover over any block and click the blue plus button underneath to insert a new block of your choosing—whether that’s speakers, sponsors, audio, images, or a fun GIF. You can also drag and drop sections of the page wherever you like them best.
You’re almost there. Stay with us! If you’re sending your holiday party invitation out to the entire company, it’s easy to upload all your company email addresses at once.
1. First click the mail icon in the right navigation of your Splash site, select the “Invite” template option, watch your event details load magically, and make any tweaks you deem necessary. These Splash email templates are still fully customizable at any stage of the event process, too, so you can send out lots of fun reminder emails later.
2. Click next and upload your addresses via paste, CSV, or Gmail Import and create a new list.
3. Now you’re ready to send yourself a test email and check links and images are displaying properly.
1. Once your test looks perfect, it’s time to send the official invitation email. Bonus: Splash actually does a quick scan of your details to make sure you didn’t miss anything before we let you click send.
