Never underestimate the power of moving images...

Since announcing our partnership with GIPHY – the world's first and largest search engine for GIFs – we've seen some WILD event pages. I mean, just look at these.

And as our CEO, Ben Hindman, once said, "when you combine the emotive power of GIFs with the power of a beautifully-designed event page from Splash, you’ve just cooked up the perfect recipe for a killer event."

So, without further ado, here's our favorite GIFs for every event your party-planning heart desires. Want to download these? Just click the GIF you want, download it directly from GIPHY, then upload it onto your Splash page with ease.

06 | The party's less than a month away, and you haven't even started the invites.

Don't sweat. Once the date, time and venue are locked in, you can easily share those details with your guests while you keep planning the rest of the party on the side.

To help you, here's a quick blueprint you can follow to get your event details into employee inboxes at superhuman speed. Don’t think you can build a mobile responsive website and send out hundreds of email invitations in less than a week’s time?

Good. Because we think you can actually do it in 7 minutes. Here's how.

2 MINUTES: INPUT THE VITALS.

Log into your Splash account (or create one, it’s free!). Click “Create Event” and give your party a title. May we recommend:

[Company’s Name]’s Holiday Hootenanny

The [Company’s Name] Winter Fest 2015

[Company’s Name]’s Holiday House Party

Holly-Day Party with [Company’s Name]

[Company’s Name] Jingle Bell Jam

…( you get the idea)

Choose your hashtag and your URL format. Let your title help guide the way.

Choose a type of event. Recommended: Party Just to Party.

Put in the address of your venue, choose a time frame and click next (you can always edit these details later.) You’re more than halfway there!

1 MINUTE: CHOOSE A THEME & HEADER IMAGE.

You can choose any theme that speaks to you, but may we recommend the new <company holiday party theme name>, an expertly-designed company holiday party template that has everything you need, right out of the box.

Once your theme populates, your party details will appear in all the right places.

Hover over the cover section until you see “edit image” and upload your own image or browse through our designer-curated selection of high-res holiday-themed snaps. Not sure where to start? Go with the colored string lights. It’s an easy crowd pleaser.

2 MINUTES: BLOCK IT OUt.

1 MINUTE: BUILD AN EMAIL.

You’re almost there. Stay with us! If you’re sending your holiday party invitation out to the entire company, it’s easy to upload all your company email addresses at once.

First click the mail icon in the right navigation of your Splash site, select the “Invite” template option, watch your event details load magically, and make any tweaks you deem necessary. These Splash email templates are still fully customizable at any stage of the event process, too, so you can send out lots of fun reminder emails later.

Click next and upload your addresses via paste, CSV, or Gmail Import and create a new list.

Now you’re ready to send yourself a test email and check links and images are displaying properly.

1 MINUTE: SEND THE INVITE, SIT BACK, AND WATCH THE RSVPS ROLL IN.

Once your test looks perfect, it’s time to send the official invitation email. Bonus: Splash actually does a quick scan of your details to make sure you didn’t miss anything before we let you click send.

Happy party planning this holiday season.

01 | THE FASHIONISTA DINNER PARTY.

These ladies and gents on your invite list know their stuff, and your Splash page is their first impression into what's in store for the evening. Why not set the tone with a few fashion icons on endless loop? After all, your page should look as good as your guests.

02 | THE CLASS OF ‘89 REUNION

Remember high school? Wait, remember prom? Ignite those long lost memories with some classic throwback faces to get people psyched to reunite. Who knows, your GIF choices might even turn into a conversation starter! Break. that. ice.

03 | THE LAST-MINUTE VEGAS WEDDING

You’re getting hitched! That’s awesome. Now all you need to do is blast out an invite to your friends and family in super-human speed (try seven minutes fast!). While some may not approve of your decision, 100% of people will appreciate your use of GIFs.

04 | THE SWEET 16 GLOW-IN-THE-DARK PARTY

Parents, kids, friends, family, pets — everyone is invited! Feel free to get weird here, with colorful explosions, neon pizzas, and tons of glittery dandelions. That way, everyone can get excited before the event happens. Write this down: experience is everything.

05 | THE DOGS IN TECH NETWORKING EVENT

As we all know, dogs are always a good time. But what happens when the dog parents team up to network just outside Silicon Valley? Dog GIFs, that’s what. Spruce up that Splash page with plenty of cute pics that will make any cat-lover swoon. Guys, it's time to get to business. Watch out, your RSVPs are rolling in...
