Danny Fleisher is a healthcare leader with experience spanning contact center development and patient access strategy, and enjoys partnering with health systems to build access centers which align to patient, provider, and organizational needs. While at the University of Miami Health System, Danny led the development of UHealthConnect, a 200-agent centralized patient access center which supports scheduling, registration, and customer service for a 1,000 physician, 60 clinic academic practice, as well as a 50-person professional support team responsible for planning and analysis for the clinical practice. In 2014 UHealthConnect was recognized by the International Customer Manager Institute (ICMI) for “Best Strategic Value to the Organization” at the Global Contact Center Awards, the first healthcare patient access center to be recognized by ICMI. Prior to leading the access center, Danny was a project manager on the health system's Epic EMR implementation team, and spent two years as a management engineer providing internal process improvement consulting throughout the health system. Danny began his career as an industrial engineer at Walt Disney World, where he provided process improvement and capacity planning support to the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disney Cruise Line.
