Being a field marketer isn’t easy. They are a liaison between sales and marketing, juggle many responsibilities, and drive pipeline. Field Marketer's are our fearless go-getters at the frontlines, who tame chaos, craft experiences, and get BIG results.

Based on nominations from friends, colleagues, and peers in the industry, we’ve compiled an incredible list of some of the most amazing field marketers. Give a round of applause to these Field Marketer's joining the Field Marketer’s Hall of Fame.

See why they made the acclaimed list and if you don’t see a field marketer you appreciate on this list nominate them here →

My favorite part about field marketing is the customers! There's no greater feeling than after an event when you see customers who are delighted and walking away with something of value, whether that's new insights or new connections. Sometimes, you just know that your program is impactful before the marketing attribution model is run and before MQLs are routed.

Congratulate and connect with Vivian →

Vivian is focusing on ways to find genuine and authentic ways to engage buyers through a virtual channel. Events need to have a real value add for buyers to want to attend.

An emerging trend that Vivian is excited about is the marriage of account based marketing and field marketing.

“Don’t throw in the towel” - Vivians biggest piece of advice for fellow field marketers is to not give up and continue to be resourceful, because it is worth it.

Don’t sweat the chaos - that’s what makes it fun!

Congratulate and connect with Jamie →

Jamie’s favorite part about field marketing is the variety that the role provides.Your day can range from planning a lead acquisition campaign to coordinating an event and even working with customers.

His main focus for the rest of this year is creating campaigns that truly add value to customers, with informative insight and innovative ideas.

Watch out for content syndication, Jaime thinks it's a great tool to get your content in front of the audience you want it to get in front of.

An emerging trend I am looking forward to is video marketing. Videos are versatile, they are engaging, they format nicely on mobile, and they perform well. If your website includes video it’s 50x more likely to drive organic search results. I’m excited to explore that a bit more.

Congratulate and connect with Summer →

Marketing up and down the buyer’s journey is her main focus the rest of 2021. She is understanding where leads are in the funnel and catering to help drive them.

Summer’s favorite part about field marketing is that it allows her to get creative. It’s fun to brainstorm themes and new ideas of what will grab peoples attention.

Her biggest piece of advice is to stretch your content as much as possible. Don’t be afraid to slice and dice your big piece of content to help drive more traffic.

I'm enjoying the trend around flexibility and how it's playing out in a myriad of ways. Flexibility on how field marketers conduct business (virtual vs in person, small vs large) and flexibility regarding audience and content - eg the opportunity we want to focus on, how we can combine sales and marketing efforts and incorporating it into the programming in an intentional way.

Congratulate and connect with Kiana →

As a person that genuinely gets excited about events and what they represent, Kiana loves that field marketing provides a clear goal and purpose for hosting them.

Her main focus for the rest of this year is building the best in class platform for other field marketers. She is growing a community that fosters connections and shared learnings #arisisngtideraiseallships (Check it out)

“Don't underestimate the power of humans having fun - the energy is tangible.” - Kiana’s biggest piece of advice for field marketers is centralized around remembering to have fun and enjoy the moment.

One of my favorite things about field marketing is the experience we get to give to attendees. It is a tangible way to bring a brand to life while being creative.

Congratulate and connect with Brittany →

As a turbulent and hard 18 months come to a close, Brittany is focused on ways to keep her team motivated and new ideas for her upcoming virtual and hybrid events.

She’s excited for field marketers to continue thinking outside of the box and using new strategies to create customers for life, customer advocates, and appreciation.

The attendee experience looks completely different, Brittany’s biggest piece of advice is to embrace this change and get creative.

It’s an exciting time for field marketing. We have new Account Based Marketing technologies that provide valuable insights that allow us to customize messages and outreach. It provides so many opportunities to work cross-functionally with teams and have field marketing as a proactive strategy for growth.

Congratulate and connect with Polly →

Polly enjoys bringing the best parts of marketing together to create valuable programs that attract both customers and prospects. And that she has a direct impact on growth.

Her main focus for the rest of this year is creating virtual experiences that support their upcoming product launches. And how 2022 is shaping up to look with hybrid field programs.

PagerDuty “Champion’s the Customers” and her biggest piece of advice for field marketers follows this motto. Always put your customers first.

My word for 2021 is scale. As we navigate this new world, we have to continue to be prepared for all scenarios. Having a full arsenal of campaigns that can be spun up and quickly pivoted is key

Congratulate and connect with Kyle →

As a person that genuinely loves her career, Kyle enjoys creating opportunities to foster memorable interactions with her company. She believes nothing feels better than knowing someone feels welcome and connected after an experience you facilitated.

After a year of transitions and as Kyle puts it “scaling.” She is excited to see what the world of hybrid events evolves into as we approach 2022.

"Be nice, have fun, and get stuff done!” Every great field marketer has this in common. And her biggest piece of advice is to listen to sales and make their buy-in your number one priority. This will create a true partnership and ensure success.

Every field marketer’s expression of a certain project is unique. Embrace and honor yours.

As a person that enjoys learning, Nancy’s favorite part about field marketing is the diversity and depth of expertise that you gain in every part of the product.

Her main focus for the rest of this year is focusing on collaborative work between the product and marketing teams.

Developing new projects that foster a better brand awareness is what she is most excited about this coming year.

My favorite part of field marketing is seeing everything come together during the event! It is so rewarding to see months of hard work come to fruition and especially rewarding to have an event that has helped from an ROI standpoint!

Congratulate and connect with Marta →

Marta serves on the board of an MPI chapter in Colorado and her main focus for the rest of this year is to connect with other professionals and learn from their experiences.

She is excited about ABM and creating events that are focused on those key target accounts.

Don’t forget that change is inevitable. Marta's biggest advice is that it's important to know how to pivot and pivot quickly.

Be willing to try something new and innovative, and be willing to fail. Oftentimes, the most successful campaigns are those that come from your own good ideas and not from following the pack.

Congratulate and connect with Linda →

Linda’s favorite part about field marketing is determining campaign tactics, messaging, and what exactly will resonate with target audiences.

Her main focus for the remainder of the year is figuring out how to elevate their campaigns to stand out in a crowded marketplace.

Using micro-targeting in a B2B setting is exciting Linda at the moment. She can’t wait to see all the new possibilities ABM brings to the field (no pun intended).

Field marketers deserved to be celebrated for all their hard work. Mark your calendar for September 23, 2022 so you can take part in honoring them on Field Marker’s Day. In the meantime, check out our latest podcast, True Stories of Field Marketing.
