If you've ever been bombarded with Slacks from Sales requesting invites for prospects or customers, or struggled to provide updates about guest registration statuses, then this month's release is for you.

Get ready for automation that will bring you much-needed relief and turn the tables on event coordination.

Control How Your Data Flows Between Splash and Salesforce

Salesforce Admins, we’ve got another big update for you.

Data is the name of the game when it comes to events. Which means controlling the data that feeds into – and out of – your Salesforce instance is critical.

With our latest Salesforce AppExchange update, you have full control over both.

Here’s what new:

1. Sync data from Salesforce to Splash

Use the Sync From Salesforce button in the Splash Guest List to sync all of your mapped Lead and Contact information from your connected Campaign back to your Splash event.

This bi-directional sync ensures your data is kept accurate and up-to-date across both systems. Plus, it streamlines the invite process so your team can easily invite leads and customers to all of your events.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Create a Splash event.
  2. Encourage your team to add leads and customers to the connected Salesforce Campaign.
  3. Sync guests from the Campaign to your Splash event using the Sync From Salesforce button. Note: You’ll receive an email confirmation when the sync is complete.
  4. Send the synced guests invites from Splash.
  5. Save you and your team hours of back and forth comms and manual guest lists updates.

2. Exclude events from syncing to Salesforce

In Global Settings, Admins will find a new setting to “Allow user to disable integration for specific events.” This powerful new workflow enables your team to disable the Salesforce integration on an event-by-event basis.

When enabled, the option to exclude an event from syncing to Salesforce will appear at the bottom of the form during the event creation process:

Want to keep all your events syncing? Simply leave the AppExchange setting unchecked to prevent your team from having this option.

Tip: Enable this setting to prevent data from internal events from syncing over and cluttering your Salesforce instance.

Want these new updates? Here’s how to get them:

The Sync from Salesforce button and Disable Salesforce integration setting are available in the Salesforce AppExchange version 1.1.2.
