The June 2020 release is laser-focused on helping you and your teams run best-in-class virtual events, from employing the power of integrations to leveraging an all-new Branded Theme.
With Splash, you’ll take virtual events from alpha to zed… or at least from beta to embed.
Read on for details, or watch this 5-minute video to hear about what's new, from our homes to yours.
First things first: all-new beta programs!
Our Virtual Event Page ↓ beta — the magical touchpoint that allows you to completely brand a live stream event and capture check-in information automatically — is begging for you to get real results from online events. Sign up today to get your team early access.
Plus, automate your webinars by getting hands on with the beta integrations for ON24 and Zoom Webinar ↓. Create webinars whenever you spin up a Splash event. Register guests in your webinar platform when they click Attending in Splash. Keep an accurate list of attendees between technologies. It’s all baked in.
Out of beta and into the fire, it wouldn’t be a product launch without a new Branded Theme ↓. This month, the team developed a branded set of event marketing assets designed in honor of Pride Month, for use across all events focused on diversity and inclusion.
Put on your goggles — we’re diving in.
This feature is in beta, available to all Splash for Business users.
The Virtual Event Page touchpoint creates a destination for your virtual events and lets you measure the results. Embed a virtual event stream, perfect the day-of experience using a dynamic event page, and gate and automate your check-in process for streamlined data capture.
“As the world changed, Splash had to quickly change with it. People who use Splash value brand and security, so we responded to make sure their guests would have that amazing virtual event experience they envisioned.” - Product Manager Mike Siegel
In just a few minutes, take any of your events online with Splash. Amidst a global pandemic forcing IRL event cancellations, event marketers are looking for ways to continue their programs’ momentum. They’re doing it with live streams and webinars — it’s the right time to make the pivot.
How do I access this touchpoint? The Virtual Event Page touchpoint is available in beta for any interested Splash for Business user. Sign your team up to get access today.

These features are in beta, available to all Splash for Business users.
We are on one about ON24, and here’s why: Just like our integration with BlueJeans, create an event in Splash, and a corresponding webcast is created in ON24. And as guests register for your event, they’ll receive a confirmation email from ON24 and show up on the registrant list in real time.
CTO Brett Boskott’s favorite part about this integration? “Any change to the event date or time is updated automatically in ON24. It’s the seamless experience users have been asking us for, and that’s exactly why we’re excited for people to try it.”
Webinar automation doesn’t stop there: Go virtual on the fly with Zoom Webinar and Splash. As registrants register for Splash events, they’ll show up in Zoom. As another bidirectional integration, all statuses are accurate in Splash and Zoom. Plus, you’ll know how long guests attend your Zoom webinars.
With Splash, you’ve got an event marketing platform that takes advantage of your entire tech stack. Make your investments pay dividends with event marketing programs that go virtual as well as doing them IRL.
How do I get access? There’s a beta page for that — or two, in this case. Sign your team up to take advantage of the ON24 integration, or get access to the Zoom Webinar integration.
What are the technical details here? We thought you’d never ask. Check out our integration guides for ON24 and Zoom Webinar to set up and configure your account. To watch the pros have at it, grab some popcorn and sit back with our on-demand webinar.
This feature is available to all Splash users.
This month, our design team debuted a brand new theme featuring a bold color palette with a layered arrangement of components and modules — all set up in a way that’s easy to customize and make your own.
When I say this theme is packed with features and functionality to make your next event stand out, I’m not exaggerating. Just take it direct from the designer, Alex Zahradnik:
“The Splash Pride Theme features automatic color sorting, repeatable elements, a layout grid that mimics the waving of a flag, automatic rainbow gradients that respond to changes you make in the color set, custom hover states, and blocks to toggle on or off for both virtual and in-person events.”
If you’re looking for a refreshed set of event marketing assets to apply to your next event, look no further than your theme library. Get moving with the Splash Pride Theme today.
How do I start using this theme? If you’re a Splash for Business user, this theme is already in your account. Just create a new event, click the Recommended tab, and check out the Networking category.
What can I use this theme for? Take your cue from Shopify's gender affirmation event or our own event on diversity and inclusion. Organizations are taking the Branded Theme beyond Pride, too — some of our favorites are Bread’s Black Lives Matter in Tech, MoCADA's Juneteenth celebration, and Uncubed's Virtual Career Fair.
