This month’s release combines powerful design with ease of use to help you create better events in minimal time.

With the new virtual event URL share settings, you get to decide how to prioritize event data, privacy, and ease of use.

The Virtual Event Page got two new usability boosts, simplifying how to embed your live stream and design the guest experience.

And if you’re feeling a little hapless when it comes to hybrid, the new Seek Branded Theme has you covered.

Built to promote both virtual and in-person programming, you’ll save time designing so you can focus on what’s most important: the experience.

Sharing Isn’t Always Caring: Virtual Event URL Share Settings

As you might imagine, our customers give us great insights all the time about their virtual events.

One we’ve been hearing a lot? Sharing isn’t always caring.

If a gated event has lax share settings, hosts can miss out on check-in insights or risk exposing private event information.

But there are also times when shareability and creating a friction-free guest experience are important.

As a direct result of your feedback, you now have more flexibility to decide how to prioritize event data, privacy, and ease of use.

Here’s how it works:

  • By default, virtual event URL sharing will now be turned OFF.
This means that only one guest at a time can view the virtual event using a virtual event URL.
  • In Event Settings, you can allow attendees to share their virtual event URL.
This means that multiple guests at a time can view the virtual event using the same link — uninterrupted.

We know all experiences are meant to be different. So this setting can be enabled or disabled on an event by event basis.

Easy Embedding: The New Way to Choose Your Streaming Provider

Embedding your virtual content should be as easy as one-two-three.

In Splash, it is – all thanks to the redesigned embed selector.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Inside the Virtual Event Page you’ll find a list of compatible streaming providers organized in a new, easy to navigate dropdown menu.
  2. After selecting your provider, you’ll enter your embed details.
  3. Once your details are entered, hit Save.

Every time you open your embed settings, your saved embed details will automatically display.

It really is that easy.

Here Comes Hybrid: Seek Branded Theme

One of the big wins for event marketers these last two years: great content is no longer bound by proximity to the venue.

If you build it, they will come — whether in-person or online.

The trick is creating an inclusive experience for your hybrid audience.

Let us introduce you to Seek – our new Branded Theme, purpose-built for the hybrid use case.

It features a dual agenda for in-person and virtual schedules, a built-in form question to collect attendance type, and dynamic in-person and virtual confirmation and reminder emails.

Not to mention, it’s easy on the eyes.

Designed with colorful gradient background imagery and an eye-catching What to Expect block, this theme is guaranteed to make your hybrid programming shine.
