We searched high and low, but we still can't figure out where the last year went.
If you're anything like us, you're in need of a little refresher on what happened in 2022.
This month, our Product Marketing team is recapping the top five Splash releases of the year.
There’s nothing quite like the racing thoughts that happen just before you host a live webinar.
Are my monitors positioned just right? Does my talk track sit at eye level? Did I remember to turn off notifications on my computer?
And if you’re hosting from home, you’re praying Amazon doesn’t buzz your doorbell in the next hour with that random late night order you placed.
That’s why this year, despite all of the unexpected, I’m eternally grateful for the one thing I know I can rely on: producing an engaging live experience with the power of Splash Studio.
Here’s how Splash Studio enables me to go live with confidence:
Greenroom: Leading up to my live event, I use Splash Studio’s greenroom to rehearse with my fellow presenters. I can easily bring them on and off stage, creating a professional “newsroom style” broadcast. Studio’s built in permissions — like muting presenters when they’re backstage — reduces the risk of any live hiccups.
Media player: I stream pre-recorded demos and speaker segments during many of my webinars. With Studio’s Media Playlist, I can pre-upload these videos and play them live with one click. The best part? Studio hides my video’s player controls, so I can simulate a live experience.
Engagement tools: Before every live webinar, I create my sequence of polls (that I can push live at any time), pin important links in the chat, and create networking circles. The result? Engaged attendees who feel part of the action.
Reminder: If you’re on a Splash Pro or Enterprise plan, you already have access to Splash Studio. So what are you waiting for? Hop in, give it a try, and make your hosting and producing dreams come true.

As marketers, we wear many hats and our team's responsibilities stretch from A to Z.
We need information on how our team is operating, and we (literally) have no time to wait for it.
That’s why I love Team Manager, it keeps me organized and empowers me with the info I need right when I need it.
With our latest export upgrade, managing your team just got easier. But we aren’t stopping there.
In the next few months, we’ll be releasing more improvements to Team Manager that will make overseeing your team in Splash even easier.
In the spirit of giving, I wanted to share a sneak peek of what's to come:
Bulk Actions
Multi-select actions allow you to remove Splash access, edit Roles, or change Groups for multiple users at one time.
Filtering
Filter by Group or Role to find exactly who you need on your team.
License Visibility
Know just how many accounts are available for your growing team without needing to contact your Account Manager.
Watch this space for more updates on when these Team Manager updates will hit your account.

The feature release I’m most thankful for is our refreshed Block Library.
Like 95% of Splash users, I’m (definitely) not a designer.
But my event pages tell a different story. They look amazing!
That’s the magic of the Splash Block Library, our catalog of pre-designed content that can be added to any event page.
In 2022, we completely revamped it, adding 100+ new block options, running the gamut of content type, style, and layout.
Here are top 3 reasons I think you’ll love it, too:
When I started at Splash in 2013, it was at the rise of social media as a business strategy — every company wanted to get good at it, and fast.
This meant: 1) A lot of events were hosted on Facebook and 2) Every event looked and felt the same.
That’s how Splash burst onto the scene — anybody could create an event page that actually matched the excitement of the in-person experience.
10 years later, empowering you to amplify your brand is still a platform pillar that we continue to invest in.
And from the day I started, the biggest allure was that anybody could create an event page that actually matched the excitement of what the in-person experience would be.
We’ve all been there before.
Your invites are looking stellar and your event page is the best one you’ve made yet, but suddenly you get a message from your team:
“I think the join now button for our webinar is the wrong link.”
There is no faster heart sink feeling as a marketer, which is why of all the great features that Splash released this year, Virtual Event Page Preview has to be my favorite.
Gone are the days where you send yourself 5 emailed versions of your event to make sure everything looks and works how it should.
Within the Virtual Event Page, you'll find an “eye” icon that allows you to preview your virtual event from your guest’s point of view.
It also includes other benefits like:

Rewind to summer – June to be exact.
Like many of you, our virtual events were (and still are!) going strong.
I thought we were finding our rhythm, but one question kept popping up in our chat proving that our flow wasn’t as seamless as it seemed.
“How can I share this stream with my co-worker?”
Our response wasn’t ideal – share the event page so they can register and join.
From a marketing perspective, creating private access links allowed us to protect and track valuable data about who registered and attended. From an attendee perspective, we were gatekeeping helpful content.
Enter my favorite release of the year: virtual URL share settings.
With a simple click of a button, hosts can choose whether they want Splash Studio access links to be private or shareable. This allows you to keep general webinars open to all, while creating more private and personal experiences for prospects further along in their journey later on.
The best part? Whenever links are shared, invitees aren’t stuck filling out an RSVP form or searching through their inbox for an email to join your event. They'll get immediate access to your content. Plus, Splash will still track everyone who showed up so you don't lose out on any data.
