¡Viva la Virtual!: Revival Branded Theme

The Revival Branded Theme is available to all users with a paid Splash plan.

Sales people love events because they can use their charm to woo prospects and close deals.

So, when a field event takes place virtually, event marketers dig deep in their bag of tricks to recreate that sense of shared serendipity.

The Revival Branded theme is for both business and pleasure.

This theme features a progression of content blocks that neatly tell the story of your virtual event.

Revival starts with a section to introduce your host/curator, a triple image block to call out exciting moments, and dedicated sections for describing your experiential kit and rules for engaging from home.

Under the hood, Revival all business.

It comes loaded with a full set of email templates for messaging attendees based on how they engaged and their level of buying interest.

This allows you to quickly craft personalized messages to sales prospects by deal stage and status, and schedule your emails to go out while your event is still top of mind.

Next time you create an event, you'll see Revival in the Recommended tab. You can also start using it today by simply clicking here.

Branded, Connected, and Interactive: Splash + Zoom for Virtual Events

The Zoom webinar integration and Virtual Event Page are available to all users with a paid Splash plan.

The surest way to revive your virtual programming is to create a memorable experience.

Problem is the Zoom meeting used at your family reunion looks exactly the same as the webinar you hosted at your Fortune 500 company.

But what if you could combine Zoom's ease of use with the design and data capabilities of Splash?

Spoiler alert: You can.

Using Splash Virtual Event Page, any Zoom webinar or meeting can be fully designed and branded — transforming the status quo into the immersive and exciting.

With Splash, you have full design control over your Zoom event's countdown screen, check-in screen, and live streaming experience.

Plus, every guest that joins your event is automatically checked in in your Splash guest list, which auto syncs to your connected CRM or MAP.

It's a beautiful thing, and best of all it takes just a few minutes to set up.

Check out this quick video to find out the Splash + Zoom option that's best for your team.

Double Down on Engagement: Dual Embed in Virtual Event Page

The Virtual Event Page is available to all users with a paid Splash plan.

The Virtual Event Page makes it really easy to set up a unique and branded destination for your virtual events.

And with dual embed functionality, you're truly able to double down on audience engagement.

How it works:

  1. Within Virtual Event Page, embed your main virtual platform for live streaming. Popular choices include Zoom, Vimeo, and YouTube — but the list of options includes the majority of well-known providers.
  2. Add a second embed and feature your audience engagement tech. Then choose the content arrangement that works best. For example, you can use Slido for polls, quizzes, Q&A, and word clouds; Walls.io to showcase a live social media feed; or Vimeo to feature on-demand video content. There are lots of options!
  3. Run your virtual event as you normally would, only this time really lean into your interactive elements.
Leveraging the power of a secondary embed unlocks types of virtual programming and allows you to better tailor the experience to the event type you're running.

In the above example, the Splash team is using a dual embed in Virtual Event page with a Zoom webinar for streaming and Pigeonhole Live for attendee engagement.

Signed, Sealed, Delivered: B2B Gift-Sending Made Easy

Beautiful slides. An impeccable demo. Smooth technical production.

All are hallmarks of a great webinar, but pale in comparison to the power of... FREE STUFF.

But how do you send 50 virtual experience kits to 50 different locations without spending 50 hours printing and sticking shipping labels?

The answer, as always, is automation.

We recommend pairing Splash with a popular B2B gift-sending tools. Sendoso and Reachdesk, for example, make sending simple swag and highly curated packages fast, efficient, and trackable.

Here's how the Splash team did it for a virtual Oktoberfest beer tasting:

  1. Our guests registered on the Splash event page. Included on our form were inputs for Name, Email, Address, and Phone Number.
  2. After registration closed, we exported the guest list as a CSV file.
  3. Then in Sendoso, we selected our gift package and initiated a multi-send. After uploading the guest list with the shipping addresses, Sendoso handles the rest.

Easy, right?

Sendoso will even verify shipping information if you forget to collect it on the registration form.

While it is possible to further automate by connecting Splash to Sendoso via Zapier (or Reachdesk and Splash using Salesforce), we prefer the above setup because it gives us a chance to verify attendance using the Splash cancel RSVP feature.

Direct Hit: Send Targeted Emails to Customers and Prospects

There's an old marketing quote that says "when you speak to everyone, you actually speak to no one."

For marketers, every event presents the challenge of tailoring goals, messaging, and experience to a specific audience.

For that reason, Splash makes it easy to send emails to precise audience segments so you can dial up the personalization — and impact — of each send.

For example:

  • Within your Splash guest list, you can import custom lists (i.e. customers, prospects, high interest, etc.) to make filtering, reporting, and emailing specific segments a click away.
  • You can upload or apply custom tags (i.e. VIP), which act as identifiers that follow guests across all your events.
  • You have the ability to segment your guest list by engagement, such how guests interacted with emails (opened or clicked), interacted with your event (attended, no-showed, or dropped off early), or their registration source (i.e. sales rep).
  • Dynamic tags allow you to insert guest and event info into emails for the ultimate personal touch.

Every custom list you create or tag you apply is readily available to you in Email Sender.

So you have the option to be super precise in your post-event communication without expending extra energy.
