This month’s release is all about simplifying your process.

From adding QR codes to emails to a new and improved list of time zones, you’ll be in a position to create events faster and with more ease.

Plus, we’re sharing all our pro tips for perfecting guest list management in our upcoming masterclass. ↓

Attach QR codes to any email in Splash

A smooth check-in experience sets the tone for the rest of your event.

So, making sure guests have what they need at the door is key.

With our latest update, you can attach QR codes to any Splash email to make sure that happens. No more having to solely rely on confirmation emails to do the job for you.

As a best practice, we recommend attaching QR codes to all of your reminder and day-of emails so guests have them easily accessible at the top of their inbox.

There are two places to attach QR codes to emails:

1. The Advanced Options section while designing your email in the Email Sender.

2. The Review page before sending your email. You can also choose to remove QR codes here.

Pro tip: Attach QR codes to your email templates so they’re automatically added to every new email you create.

For API users: Manage your team better with six new endpoints

There’s a new way to manage your team. And here’s a fun catch, it doesn’t require a Splash license.

Any team with API access can now add, edit, and remove users from one central location outside of Splash.

This update is especially helpful for larger teams who need to streamline the set up of new users along with their other internal applications.

Here’s a breakdown of each one:

  • Fetch Organization Groups
Use this endpoint to get a paginated list of the groups on your team.

  • Fetch Organization Roles
Use this endpoint to get a paginated list of the roles on your team.

  • Fetch Organization
Use this endpoint to get a paginated list of the users on your team. You can include different parameters to get specific info like name, email, last login, date added, and more.

  • Invite a User to the Organization
Use this endpoint to add users to your team. This will also automatically trigger the invite email for them to create their Splash account.

  • Update Role and Groups for a User
Use this endpoint to edit the role and/or groups for users.

  • Delete User from the Organization
Use this endpoint to delete users from your team.

You can learn more about setting up each endpoint in the Team Manager folder of our API documentation.

Partner Spotlight: Guidebook’s attendee app that powers engagement (and revenue)

We’ve seen the trends.

Event teams are:

  • Under-resourced
  • Fighting for attendees’ attention
  • Throwing serendipity out the window and facilitating connections themselves
  • Scrambling to accurately measure ROI

And to top it all off, the demand for in-person events is greater than ever.

Enter Guidebook.

Splash partners with Guidebook, a best-in-class attendee app for conferences and events that helps you create engagement, generate additional revenue via sponsorships, gather real-time feedback and data, and foster real connections between attendees.

Guidebook even has a self-serve Splash integration to sync your guest list to your attendee app.

Just like Splash, getting set up with Guidebook requires no technical knowledge.

With Splash and Guidebook, you’ll get the right people in the room and take your engagement to the next level.

One last thing…

We updated the time zone options in the Event Settings and create flow to include GMT and IST. We also reorganized the list so GMT appears in numerical order and USA/Canada options appear at the top of the list for customers located in the U.S.
