3 New Splash Email Templates Guaranteed to Make Your Events Stand Out

September 19, 2017

Email remains the biggest driver of traffic to most event pages, which means it's critical that your emails capture people's attention and give them the right impression about your event.

If your emails fall flat or don't differentiate from the hundreds of other emails in a person's inbox, it could very well be your last chance to make an impression. To introduce some more aesthetic diversity to your email arsenal, Splash designers have created an exciting collection of powerful new templates. There are three sets of brand new email templates in all — Event Card, Bold, and Dynamic — and they are now available on six different Splash themes.

Check them out below!

Bold Templates

Email Types - Save the Date, Invitation, Day of, Reminder, Thank You, and Note

Where To Find Them - Available on the Sprout and Ignite themes

Why They're Great - This set is guaranteed to result in an invitee inbox implosion (translation: straight dynamite). The templates are bold in text composition — a generally larger typeface paired with powerful headlines — and their calls to action are can't-miss. You'll notice in the example below that some Bold templates use a colored background, the first of our email collections to offer that style choice.

These positive experiences were then shared by word-of-mouth and social media, turning into referrals that often translated into sales.

Event Card Templates

Email Types - Save the Date, Invitation, Day of, Reminder, Thank You, and Note.

Where To Find Them - Available on the Wink and Scribble themes.

Why They're Great - Your event card is what your event page looks like on social media and chat — think Facebook timelines and Slack messages. They're beautiful! This template set embeds your event card's concise, poster-like visual into the meat of the message, saving you lots of time on design.

Dynamic Templates

Email Types - Save the Date, Invitation, Day of, Reminder, Thank You, and Note

Where To Find Them - Available on the Link and Speak themes

Why They're Great - Light, airy, fresh, clean, and powerful — this set can only be described as the perfect marriage of minimalism and high-energy design.

Equinox needed to have a system in place that could enable this type of scaling -- and that’s where data and technology come into play.

For their marketing tech stack, they wanted to make sure they built a system where all their technologies were talking to each other (integrations are key) and that they could make smart decisions based on the data.

Before putting the most effective systems in place, they had to think ahead by asking 3 critical questions:

1. What are the potential issues/challenges?
2. Which teams need to be involved?
3. How do get the field managers or the teams at the clubs involved?

These questions are just the beginning. See how Equinox built and scaled their marketing architecture in this exclusive video:

We all know event data is important. But does it even matter if you don't know what to do with it? Learn how to effectively use and distribute your event data.

Splash's fourth ever employee, Zach's been giving Splash users the tools to be great since 2013. It's his job to ensure every client that logs into our platforms emerges feeling confident they can make their events extraordinary. Not to date himself, but his favorite movie is Dumb and Dumber (1994); he also uses The Plaza Hotel as the location on every one of his Splash pages.
