How to Throw a Private RSVP Event in Splash

The power of Splash can spread your event around the world, but sometimes you want to keep it quiet.

Whether it's a private dinner series with c-level execs (and plenty of shrimp) or an exclusive concert in Prospect Park for VIPs, check out our recommendations for throwing private events on Splash.

Seriously, it's easy as 1-2-3:

01 | password only

Want to create an exclusive event or create a code for a special group? You can use passcodes to protect elements on your Splash page.

RSVP Password (Button Only)

In the Settings tab, check out the Privacy menu. You can protect your RSVP button by creating a passcode for your guests to use to submit their information.

Password Protected (Entire Page)

In the Settings tab, this Privacy option locks off your Splash page until a password you create is entered. This one keeps all of your event details hidden, so not just anyone can RSVP.

The BA Burger Deluxe from Bon Appetit.

In the Form tab, this option requires an approved email address to submit their info through the RSVP button.

02 | you already know the guest list

If you’re checking names off a list or don’t want the event details to be public, check out our restricted guest list options:

Only my guest list can RSVP

In the Form tab, this option requires an approved email address to submit their info through the RSVP button.

guest list Email Validation

In the Settings tab, this Privacy option requires an approved email address to load the design of the page.

Limit One RSVP per Email

In the Form tab, this option only allows one RSVP submission per email. Make sure to not also select “Allow Guests to Bring Plus Ones.”
